The mission of the Director of Operations is to continue the growth of the company infrastructure across a variety of business units.
With a focus on property and personnel improvements, the Director of Operations will review and improve operations manuals, learning and development content, capital improvement projects, and position FreeUp Storage to improve company operations.
This person should be prepared to travel throughout the portfolio on occasion.

Capex/Opex Budgets Capex Deployment Learning & Development Main Objectives and
Responsibilities:
Defining, implementing, and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization.
Develop new growth directives.
Work with senior management to help develop annual operational and capital expenditure budgets.
Manage procurement and resource allocation Manage the Learning & Development aspect of the business including content creation and implementation strategies Execute and manage the capital improvements process and projects including new acquisitions, existing portfolio, vendor management Competencies:
Communication - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be tactful and articulate even during stressful situations and with a variety of people from all backgrounds.
Business Acumen - General marketing knowledge and ability to ensure brand guidelines.
Strong understanding of business revenue goals; ability to read a P&L and manage a budget.
Curiosity - Research and be up to date on the market trends and forecast.
Dive deep into company systems and metrics to solve issues and identify new systems and processes.
Initiative - Has a bias for action and is not afraid to be the first to speak up or take a fresh approach to something.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year university or college Property Management Experience Self-Storage background Being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is a requirement for all Spartan Employees within 30 days of starting employment.

$110,000K base pay with potential for profit sharing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
