The Workday HRIS Managerwill provide daily leadership and have responsibility for ensuring the team delivers effective and timely results to stakeholders.
Provides leadership for Analysts that support Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) & Payroll support functions, as well as analysts supporting other various systems or functions including ATS system, ServiceNow, and analytics.
Collaborates with other leaders on GMR's people data strategy, HR systems, reporting and analytics, and supporting development and alignment of business needs.
This role will have responsibility for managing the Workday, payroll and integration HRIS support team and will report to the HRIS Director.
This role will also be responsible for ensuring a plan exists and is adhered to around data integrity and reporting that aligns with the strategic initiatives and objectives of the organization.
Collaboration across business areas is vital to develop a consistent vision of HR data needs and an integrated view of the overall data, systems, and analytics.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Workday support and change management activities including supporting team through such activities.
Provide overall direction/coaching, and guidance to team of Analysts supporting various HR systems/applications including Workday, iCIMS, and ServiceNow.
Manage delivery of analysis and reporting f or Employee Experience, HRBPs, Talent Management and Talent Development, as well as the business, in alignment with business objectives.
Partner/collaborate with the IT function to oversee Workday system upgrades, additions and integrations with upstream and downstream systems as well as vendors.
Partner with Data Analytics Specialist to guide gathering of data and prepare HR reporting, scorecards/dashboards and analyze key HR metri cs to identify tr ends and patterns through data and develop recommendations to support business objectives.
Assist with HR and Payroll related technology implementations and updates by providing data and process insights and requirements.
Support the team in developing a strategic HR and Payroll project roadmap that is prioritized and synchronized with the business and people strategy team strategy Monitor and improve the effectiveness of existing HRIS and lead HR and Payroll technology implementation and data maintenance.
Monitor HR and Payroll trends in data and analytics and provide insight to team and leadership.
Coach, motivate and mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, coach & counsel as needed with a goal of developing a team oriented approach with positive results.
Assist in driving performance management.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Education/Licensing/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree or comparable relevant experience
Experience:
Demonstrated relevant HR Systems and Analytics experience.
Robust knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials module strongly preferred.
Prior direct experience functioning in a similar role at an organization of similar size and complexity desired.
Working knowledge of various HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnoses, performance management, diversity, and familiarity with some employment law.

Strong Analytical skills Project management training and experience highly desirable.
Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley regulations, Sarbanes Oxley implementation experience highly desirable.
Familiarity with HIPPA regulations, HIPAA implementation experience highly desirable.
Effective oral, written and communication skills are required.
