Description:
As part of the Colorado State University Extension program in Jefferson County, the CSU Program Assistant provides administrative and office management support on a variety of tasks that may include composing and sending correspondence, providing programming knowledge, and creating and maintaining current and historical records.
This position assists with event planning, implementation, and evaluation of events along with the 4-H Specialist team.
The position manages social media content and postings, producing content and maintains public communication via websites, social media, and flyers.
This person is part of a professional 4-H team that delivers high quality positive youth development through 4-H club programming, after-school classes, community outreach events, and more.
The ideal candidate is a strong self-starter, proactive, detail-oriented, and acts as a liaison to other departments and divisions within all functions of office management, including analysis, training, troubleshooting, and communication.
This position pivots between administrative and office management, and special projects completed in partnership with the Director of CSU Extension, of Jefferson County, 4-H Specialists and other support staff.
This position ensures coverage of the Extension office's front desk and provides additional support needed to deliver the highest level of customer service.
Prior experience working with educational youth programs or the community will be beneficial in this role.
The candidate must also have the proven ability to move between diverse tasks with ease, and must thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Schedule:
This position operates on a 4-day or 5-day work week from an office located on the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
Due to the nature of the position, this role must be on site during Extension office hours, currently Tuesday-Friday 8-5pm, with the remaining hours of the week being flexible upon agreement with Director and 4-H team Position will be asked, with notice, to flex schedule to support some nights and weekends for special projects or events.

Hiring Range:
$20 - $22 USD Hourly Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills.

Essential Duties:
Assists with 4-H youth development events from planning, implementation, evaluation and close-out under the direction of the 4-H Specialist team.
Reserves equipment and facilities for events, organizes materials, prepares and purchases supplies, communicates with internal and external partners, monitors and communicates program progress to supervisors, tracks expenses, and serves as a communication hub for all stakeholders in the event planning process.
Assists with office cleaning and organization, keeps inventory and orders supplies, serves as a point person for maintenance, bills, and errands.
Provides customer service as the primary contact for 4-H members and as a member of the office administrative team who will provide periodic coverage of the office front desk.
Maintains communication and provides knowledge to 4-H members and families through phone calls and emails.
Schedules meetings related to 4-H programming for members.
Records and maintains youth and volunteer data; runs reports on 4-H programming data; and maintains library of historical documents.
Produces office-wide relevant content and maintains public communication channels via the CSU Extension, Jefferson County website, calendar, social media outlets and flyers in conjunction with the communication team.
Partners with the front office administrative support and other CSU Extension program areas to ensure coverage, customer support, and needs are met.
Follows all established procedures and policies to provide answers and assist with customer needs and concerns.

Minimum
Qualifications:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
