Responsibilities of this position may include:
Sample prep such as homogenizing and weighing of samples, as well as diluting solution samples for analysis Sample extractions using acids, bases and solvents Analyzing samples using established wet chemistry methods Instrumentation analysis:
ICP-MS , Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, and IC experience Lab cleanup and organization Instrument maintenance Making/verifying standards and calibrations Performing initial data verification and review Skills Training will be provided Experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment and potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, hazardous chemicals etc.
) Good physical condition and endurance Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems Ability to work autonomously and under pressure Minimum bachelors degree in chemistry or biology is required Job Type:
