STATEMENT OF DUTIES General Statement Of Duties:
Performs specialized professional functions for the court or specialized case processing functions, such as probate registrar or water clerk functions.
Distinguishing Factors:
Positions in this classification are distinguished from other classifications by the concentration on specialized professional functions for the court or specialized case processing functions, such as probate registrar or water clerk functions.
Specialists spend 50% or more time on a specialized function such as those mentioned above.
May require occasional travel.
A district may utilize up to 5% of the total non-Judicial Officer staff allocation in the district for Specialist positions, rounded to the nearest full FTE, excluding the appellate courts.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS The Clerk's Office is seeking to hire a specialist for their Civil team.
This position will primarily focus on training new staff, assisting in developing training resources and implementing legislative changes, and providing coverage for Civil team tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education:

) in business, public or court administration or related field from a four-year college or university and one year of office, legal, or court experience.
