Jen and her husband Dan have invested in the betterment of Golden through various business ventures.
They are Colorado natives, high school sweethearts, GHS alumni, parents to four adult children, and grandparents to three:
Brooks Morris, Emersyn Mae, and baby boy Bennett James.
In 2015, they opened Connects Workspace and founded DT Construct.
They purchased Cafe 13 in 2018 and they purchased Gold Mine Cupcakes in 2021.
Their passion is to bring people together through food and community.
We are hopeful that Morris & Mae can become a gathering place for locals and visitors alike.
Just a stop along the highway of life, to settle in and enjoy good food and good company.
The Morris & Mae Market Bartender is responsible for greeting all guests, helping to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere while also performing all duties related to operating the bar.
This includes knowledge of cocktails, beer and wine, quality control, opening stocking duties and closing cleaning duties.
Furthermore the Bartender is responsible for maintaining the highest professional drink quality and hygiene standards throughout the operation.

The Bartender reports to the General Manager.
Essential Functions:
Greet every customer Personally serve any customer that sits or walks up to the bar Create a clean and comfortable experience for our customers that sit at the bar Clean and organize the bar, alcohol back storage and alcohol fridge Have a strong understanding of all seasonal cocktails, beer and wine Tap kegs of beer Multi-task between orders coming from multiple sources Prep all necessary accoutrements for cocktails Keep all glassware clean Follow Bar Checklist at Opening, Shift Change and Closing Update General Manager on equipment and supply needs QUALIFICATIONS TIPS Certified Understanding of cocktail recipes Minimum of two years of bartending experience.
Must agree to background check.
PERSONAL Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing.
High customer service skills.
Detail oriented.
Team Player.
Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
WORKING CONDITIONS This is an hourly position with tips.
Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 50 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment.
