We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in medical reception and possess knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries - Verify insurance information and collect co-payments - Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry - Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow -Send out Referrals as necessary -Checking in and out patients.
-Prep Superbills for the next day -Ensure EOD matches and reconciles each day
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role - Proficiency in using office systems such as NextGen - Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Experience working in a dental or medical office is preferred Join our team and contribute to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive work environment.
