All duties are performed under the supervision of a Lead Technician and a licensed pharmacist.
Essential Elements of the job:
Demonstrates a working knowledge of all pharmacy rules and regulations Correctly pulls medication to be counted Counts and labels medication Answers patient phone calls and assists walk up customers, while providing excellent customer service Pulls expired medications Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs Restocks supplies and general cleaning of pharmacy Maintains compliance with Company and HIPPA patient confidentiality requirements Performs other duties as assigned Essential Skills and
Experience:
Current CPhT Certification Registration with DORA as a licensed technician or provisional license is required upon hire Ability to maintain a clean workspace The ability to work independently and use own initiative Ability to listen and follow instructions An awareness of health and safety regulations Ability to concentrate for long periods of time Strong listening skills and attention to detail Good computer skills (Microsoft office products, email, internet) Ability to work as part of a team and adapt in a fast-paced environment Job Type:
