06 USD Hourly Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills.
Essential Duties:
Provides administrative support including maintaining department and employee schedules, scheduling meetings, court hearings, and agendas; editing and preparing a variety of letters, memoranda, and basic reports, researching basic information; and providing related support.
Drafts, reviews, and makes changes to a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, complaints, and motions.
Responds to attorney requests.
Electronically files court documents on assigned systems.
Performs basic office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, typing standard documents, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail, and entering data.
Answers phones, responds to inquiries, and makes appropriate referrals.
Sets up and maintains exhibits, documentation for hearings, and court files.
Follows established guidelines to sort, organize, and archive electronic and physical files.
Tracks status of cases and follows proper chronological steps for service of process, statutory requirements, and case filings.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
