This is our direct-client opening for a .Net Developer located in Golden, CO. This is a 3
month contract-to-hire position and the salary upon conversion to a full-time employee will range depend on experience level.
The .Net Developer will works closely with senior developers to develop/code new application features and bug fixes that are in accordance with both technical and functional requirements. Applications will be coded in accordance with established industry and company standards for .NET applications. Developers work under the direction of designated team leads and should demonstrate excellent object oriented conceptual skills and problem solving capability.
Responsibilities:
With limited supervision, develops and builds applications/enhancements within department in a fast-paced object oriented environment. Utilizes numerous sources to obtain and build development skills.
Receives business requirements from client via a Business Analyst/architect to successfully develop applications, functions, and processes.
Conducts and is accountable for unit testing for development assignments. Must be detail-oriented and follow-through on issues.
Must be able to work on and manage multiple tasks in addition to working with other developers.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must work closely with project analysts to meet estimated production dates for client.
Responsible for enhancing existing applications to meet the needs of ongoing efforts within software platforms.
Records and tracks time worked on projects and assignments.
Develops an understanding of our software platforms, and the credit card industry.
Has a solid understanding of project development/management processes, methodology, and the impact of the project management metrics.
Participates in team, department, and division meetings as required.
Education/
Experience:
Four year college degree and 2 or more years professional experience or 4 or more years professional experience is required
Experience in Object Oriented development, XML, and RDMBS, Microsoft SQL, .Net, and C# is preferred
Candidates should have hands-on, object oriented development experience
A Computer related BS and/or Sun certified programmer is preferred
Experience developing within an n-tier architecture is preferred as well as experience with MS SQLEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
