The Opportunity Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Engineering Intern position. This city is the home to diverse recreational activities from cultural museums to outdoor recreational activities such as camping and wonderful parks. In addition, The Colorado School of Mines is in Golden and the University of Colorado is located in Boulder. Golden is only a short distance away from the mile high city of Denver. Engineering Intern
Responsibilities:
Project lab testing, mocking up relays per customer schemes, loading settings and testing per engineers requirements.
Assist Protection engineers on project work performing engineering tasks.
Construction of relay equipment racks for testing purposes on projects and assist with the testing.
Testing and checkout of new products and software.
Qualifications:
Current student with one or more years undergraduate studies in electrical engineering
Ability to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer
Interest in electrical engineering field of system protection
Strong communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively in team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Ability to adhere to SEL's tobacco free workplace policy
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred
Qualifications:
Education emphasis in Power
Work experience with Utility or other electrical service provider
Hands on experience with wiring and assembling equipment for testing purposes

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
