Manager HR Business Partner

Employee Relations Management
Cultivate partnerships with the organizations of responsibility to understand current issues and anticipate upcoming ones in order to provide timely HR guidance as needed
Oversee Employee Relations tactical work product including investigations, reviews PIPs, and exit interviews and employee relations data. Identifies interventions required in response to market needs or initiatives. Completes complex or high level investigations as needed
Provides employee relations support with particular emphasis on performance management process
Provides coaching, guidance and direction to management within assigned group. Actively listens to manager concerns and recommends/ takes appropriate actions. Works to further professional manager/employee interactions and appropriately handles performance issues with managers and employees
Operate as a subject matter expert in areas of employment law by providing technical advice to the leadership team
Partner with General Counsel to keep management and employees informed of company HR policies and administrative practices, and of proposed changes that will affect their effectiveness. Devise and develop effective communications between and among management and employees to promote employee morale and provide an environment conducive to achieving reduced costs and increased productivity

Interpret policies, regulations, and programs in a manner conducive to company goals.
Communication and Training
Provide Employee Relations related training at all levels of management as needed, including preventative training to ensure policy adherence.
Create materials that update and inform management on pertinent work force issues and concerns.
Relationship Building
Ensure personal credibility and impact through influencing others, leading people, and communicating clearly.
Create and maintain relationships with other HR functions through partnerships.
Education level and/or experience
B.A/B.S. Degree in HR, Business Administration or applicable field
Masters or PHR/SPHR designation preferred
7-10 years HR experience
Strong Generalist experience
Skills and/or knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with and influence others
Working knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations relating to the human resources field
Demonstrated problem solving
Well developed influence skills and a persuasive and convincing nature

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
