Basic Requirement:
For the GS-11:
You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience Requirement:
GS-11:
Specialized experience is defined as experience diagnosing and resolving unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems (Windows); providing excellent customer service in determining the source of problems and identifying the priority and nature; configuring, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting and implementing temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, peripheral equipment and telecommunications equipment; troubleshooting and researching post installation related issues, critical registry issues and recommending solutions to resolve customer issues.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience, you must also possess and demonstrate the Information Technology (IT) related experience identified in the following 4 competencies listed below.

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT:
If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
